President approves Digital Public Finance system

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has approved the regulations for the Digital Public Finance information system.

According to Report, the head of state signed the corresponding decree.

The document tasks the Cabinet of Ministers with addressing issues arising from the decree. The Ministry of Finance is responsible for the formation, management, operation, and development of the system. Together with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the ministry will host and expand the system in line with the Government Cloud concept, approved by a presidential decree on June 3, 2019.

The decree also stipulates that the system be included in the Unified Register of State Information Resources, Systems, and Electronic Services, as well as in the State Register of Personal Data Information Systems.
