Net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks increase by 23%

As of September 1 this year, the net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 22,153,700,000 manats ($13 billion).

Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that this is 0.7% more than last month, 9.8% - the beginning of the year, and 22.9% - September 1 last year.

By the end of August of this year, the net domestic assets of banks amounted to 16,911,200,000 manats ($10 billion), which is 4.1% more than the month, 16.8% - the beginning of the year, and 27.5% - the last year.

26 banks operate in Azerbaijan.
