Mortgage lending through state line in Azerbaijan increases

In January-August this year, mortgage loans for 256.2 million manats were issued through the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund of Azerbaijan, Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
This is 62.3 percent more than in the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the amount of loans refinanced by the Fund increased almost 4 times and amounted to 236.5 million manats. The money raised by the Fund through the issuance of bonds increased by 23.1 percent, to 160 million manats, and the money allocated from the state budget to the Fund decreased by 4 times and amounted to 35.6 million manats.
