Mastercard: Digitization rate of spending in Azerbaijan reaches 25%

The spending digitization rate in Azerbaijan is currently at about 25%, General Manager for Azerbaijan and Turkiye of Mastercard international payment system Avsar Gurdal said at the 6th International Banking Forum held in Baku within the framework of the cooperation with the Mastercard international payment system, Report informs.
"7 years ago, this number was only 8%, and we think it will increase to 50% in the next three years. We will also try to continue introducing the latest technological innovations to the market," he added.
