Iran: Dollar exchange rate reaches record high

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and US sanctions, the Iranian national currency's official exchange rate exceeded 28,000 tomans against the US dollar.
Report says, citing foreign media; thus, the dollar exchange rate has reached a historic high.
According to the report, the exchange rate of the national currency against the euro approached 33,000 tomans. The Iranian Statistics Center raised its annual inflation forecast by 0.2 percentage points to 26% compared to last month.
