Government mortgage lending doubles in Azerbaijan

Mortgage lending through Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund (MCGF) amounted to AZN 57.7 million in January-February 2021, which is 2.2-fold more than the same period of 2020, Report informs citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
In the reporting period, the loans refinanced by the MCGF rose by 3.6-fold to AZN 40.2 million.
The funds allocated from the state budget to the MCGF made up AZN 17.8 million.
