Economic recovery expected in Georgia

"The opening of Georgia's land borders will influence the economic situation in the country, as well as the stabilization of the lari," said Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava.
Report informs, citing the minister, that the revival of tourism creates the basis for the recovery of the Georgian economy.
Turnava also stressed that the influx of tourists to the country by air and land would increase revenues.
Georgia will open its land borders from June 1.
