Georgia borrows about $ 2 billion during pandemic

Georgia received $ 1.9 billion from its international partners during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, said Giorgi Kakauridze, Deputy Finance Minister of the neighboring country.
He said that the bulk of the amount was a loan, and a 100 million euro grant was received.
The deputy minister also noted that in the first quarter of this year, the cost related to the pandemic in the health sector amounted to GEL 176.6 million (about $ 53 million).
