Credit investments of state-owned banks in Azerbaijan grows by nearly 28%

Credit investments in the economy of Azerbaijan as of July 1 this year amounted to 21,966,200,000 manats ($12.9 billion).
Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), that this is up 3.2% m-o-m, 8.8% more than the beginning of the year, and up 16.7% y-o-y.
16,701,500,000 manats ($9.8 billion) or 76% of the credit investment fell to private banks (+14.5%).
During the reporting period, the credit investment of state-owned banks amounted to 4,594,800,000 ($2.7 billion) manats (+27.7%). The specific weight of state banks in the total credit investment increased from 19.8% to 20.9%.
