Compulsory insurance market in Azerbaijan shrinks 9%

In January-November this year, 217.494 million manats ($127.937 million) insurance premiums (-9%) were collected at the expense of compulsory insurance in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, payments for compulsory insurance amounted to 87.206 million manats ($51.297 million), which is 20.8% less than one year ago.
Thus, in January-November 2022, all 100 manats ($58.82) insurance premiums collected from the compulsory insurance market comprised 40.1 manats ($23.59). This figure was 46.1 manats ($27.12) in the same period of 2021.
