Central banks of Azerbaijan, Türkiye mull global and regional economic trends

The central banks of Azerbaijan and Türkiye discussed global and regional economic trends, according to the Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), Taleh Kazimov, Report informs.

"It was a pleasure to meet with Mr. Fatih Karahan, Governor of the Central Bank of Türkiye, on the margins of the 7th Forum of Central Banks under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation – Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation. During our meeting, we held a broad exchange of views on global and regional economic trends, financial stability, and monetary policy. We also expressed our satisfaction with the strong socio-economic relations between our brotherly countries," Kazimov wrote on X.

Furthermore, they once again emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation between our institutions in areas of mutual interest.

"We extended our gratitude to Mr. Fatih Karahan for hosting both the Forum and the bilateral meeting and wished him continued success," Kazimov said.
