Budget transfers from customs authorities up by about 25% in Azerbaijan

In January-April 2023, the budget transfers from the State Customs Committee (SCC) amounted to 2,046.681 million manats ($1.2 billion), up 24.7%, from January-April 2022, Report informs, citing the Committee.
In the reporting period, the revenues from customs duties increased by 21% to 496.589 million manats ($292.11 million), from value-added tax (VAT) by 25.2% to 1,470.764 million manats ($0.86 billion), from excise taxes went up by 56.3% to 62.297 million manats ($36.65 million), and from road tax grew 1.5% to 17.03 million manats ($10.02 million).
