Budget transfers from customs authorities up by 11% in Azerbaijan

In January-September 2023, the budget transfers from the State Customs Committee (SCC) amounted to 4,706,606,000 manats (nearly $2.8 billion), up 11.3%, from January-September 2022, Report informs, citing the Committee.
In the reporting period, the revenues from customs duties increased by 18.2% to 1,210,757,000 manats ($712.2 million), from value-added tax (VAT) by 8.6% to 3,294,949,000 manats ($2 billion), from excise taxes went up by 38.3% to 167,608,000 manats ($98.6 million), and from road tax dropped by 29.3% to 33,293,000 manats ($19.6 million).
