Budget transfers from customs authorities down by 7% in Azerbaijan

In January 2024, the budget transfers from the State Customs Committee (SCC) amounted to 473,728,000 manats (nearly $278.66 million), down 6.5% from January 2023, Report informs, citing the Committee.
In the reporting period, revenues from customs duties increased by 12.3% to 136,952,000 manats ($80.56 million), from value-added tax (VAT) dropped by 13.9% to 314,878,000 manats ($185.22 million), from excise taxes went up by 24.7% to 18,507,000 manats ($10.89 million), and from road tax fell by 23.7% to 3,392,000 manats ($2 million).
