Baku and Budapest to discuss cooperation opportunities for statistical services - EXCLUSIVE

Hungary intends to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan in the statistical field, the President of the Central Statistical Office of Hungary, Áron Kincses, told Report on the sidelines of the III International CIS Statistical Forum in Baku.

"Holding such a forum in Baku is an excellent opportunity for Hungary to share experience and establish contacts not only with colleagues from Azerbaijan, but also from other CIS countries. Today, there is an urgent need to expand cooperation between statistical institutions around the world. I believe that Azerbaijan has an experienced and professional statistical committee. Our service is open to interaction and has already planned a series of meetings to exchange views. I am confident that we will have fruitful and mutually beneficial work," Áron Kincses noted.

According to him, the forum has become an important platform for discussing modern challenges in the field of statistics, as well as for promoting new approaches and digital solutions.

"Such events contribute to strengthening professional ties and mutual understanding between countries," added the head of the Central Statistical Office of Hungary.
