Azerbaijani banks hold discussions with IMF

Representatives of the member banks of the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) have held a meeting with the Article IV mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Report informs, referring to ABA.
The meeting was attended by Chad Steinberg, the head of mission, Jiri Jonas and Gustavo Ramirez, representatives of the IMF's Middle East and Central Asia Department.
The parties discussed the impacts of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the war in Ukraine and related sanctions against Russian banks, as well as inflation on the country's economy and banking sector.
