Azerbaijani banks have 44 correspondent accounts in six Turkic-speaking countries

As of August of this year, Azerbaijani banks have up to 44 correspondent accounts in six Turkic-speaking countries, Zakir Nuriyev, the President of the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) Public Union, said at the Fintex Summit Istanbul 2023, Report informs.

"Currently, strong trade relations between Turkic-speaking countries lead to close financial relations. One manifestation of this shows itself in correspondent relations," he noted.
