Azerbaijan's reserve fund allocations up 7.4 times in 1H2026

In the first half of 2026, Azerbaijan allocated 144.5 million manats (just under $85 million) from state reserve funds.
According to Report, citing the country's Ministry of Finance, this is about 7.4 times higher compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, 23.5 million manats (just over $13.8 million) were allocated from the President's Reserve Fund, while 121 million manats (approximately $71.2 million) came from the state budget reserve fund, marking an increase of 89.5% and 16.8 times, respectively, compared to one year earlier.
