Azerbaijan's economy grows by more than 7%

In January-May this year, Azerbaijan delivered gross domestic product (GDP) worth 50.867 billion manats ($29.921 billion), or 7.2% more than in the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
The value-added increased by 0.5% in oil and gas sector and by 11% in the non-oil and gas sector
Industry accounted for 54.7% of GDP production, trade; repair of vehicles for 7.6%, transport and warehousing for 6.1%, construction for 3.8%, agriculture; forestry and fishing for 2.9%, tourist accommodation and catering for 1.4%, the information and communication sector for 1.3%, and other sectors fpr 14.5%, net taxes on products and imports amounted to 7.7% of GDP.
GDP per capita amounted to 5,063.1 manats ($2,978.29).
