Azerbaijan posts almost 9% rise in non-oil-gas tax revenues

In January-August of 2025, more than 8.434 billion manats (just over $4.96 billion) or 73% of tax revenues in Azerbaijan came from the non-oil-gas sector, Report informs, referring to the State Tax Service (STS) under the Ministry of Economy.
According to data, this is 8.9% more compared to the same period last year, and 3% more than the forecast.
During the reporting period, revenues to the Azerbaijani budget through the State Tax Service exceeded 11.561 billion manats ($6.8 billion), which is 3% more year-on-year, and 5.4% more than the forecast.
Overall, the STS must transfer 15.5 billion manats (approximately $9.12 billion) to the stated budget of Azerbaijan. Thus, 74.8% of that amount has been provided during the 8 months.
