Azerbaijan forecasts 134.1B manats GDP for 2026

Azerbaijan's government expects the country's gross domestic product (GDP) to reach 134.1 billion manats ($78.9 billion) in 2026, according to the Ministry of Finance, Report informs.

A total of 101.7 billion manats ($59.8 billion) of this amount is projected to come from the non-oil and gas sector.

The government forecasts an overall economic growth of 2.9% next year, including a 5% growth in the non-oil and gas sector.

In its updated economic forecast released last month, the government projected a GDP of 129.9 billion manats ($76.4 billion) for this year, with 93.5 billion manats (nearly $55 billion) coming from the non-oil and gas sector.

According to the State Statistical Committee, in January–August of the current year, Azerbaijan's GDP amounted to 83.04 billion manats ($48.8 billion) - 1% more than in the same period last year.
