Azerbaijan developed methodology and metadata for 5 Sustainable Development Goals

Azerbaijan has already developed methodology and metadata for 15 indicators across five Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Rauf Salimov, deputy chairman of the State Statistics Committee, said on the 3rd International Statistical Forum on the "Prospects for the Development of Statistics: The Role of International Projects" in Baku, Report informs.

"These indicators cover the health of mine-exposed persons, social assistance, and employment," Salimov noted.

According to him, the relevant government agencies are collecting the data, and the process of disseminating it has already begun: "The goal is to develop this experience and share it with other countries."

Salimov emphasized that this initiative is important for strengthening international cooperation on social indicators and ensuring the effective use of data.
