Annual inflation in Azerbaijan exceeds 13%

In January-August 2022, the consumer price index in Azerbaijan made up 113.2% compared to the same period last year, including 118.9% for foodstuffs, beverages, and tobacco products, 107.2% for non-food products, and 110% for paid services provided to the population.
Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee, that in August, the consumer price index was 100.9% compared to July and 114.2% compared to August last year.
