Volume of oil transported through Türkiye via BTC down 2%

In January-July of this year, 130.685 million barrels of oil were transported through Türkiye via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, Report informs referring to the Turkish company BOTAS.
This is 2.724 million barrels or 2% lower than in January-July 2023.
In July of this year, 20.533 million barrels of oil were transported through Türkiye via BTC, which is 0.898 million barrels or 4.6% higher than in July last year.
BTC mainly transports oil from Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and condensate from Shah Deniz from Azerbaijan.
In addition, Turkmen and Kazakh oil is also pumped through the pipeline.
