During January-June of this year, 850,000 tons of Russian crude oil were exported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline, Report informs, citing Argus publication.

According to information, this is 125,000 tons or 12.8% less than the results of the first half of 2021.

At the same time, in the first half of this year, the volume of Russian condensate transported to the Sangachal terminal by railways was 67,500 tons. Compared to the January-June 2021 results, it is 37,500 tons or 2.25 times more.

The supply of Russian crude to Azerbaijan is carried out by railway from the Yalama-Samur border crossing point.

The BTC pipeline currently carries mainly oil from Azerbaijan from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block and condensate from the Shah Deniz field. In addition, other volumes of crude oil and condensate, including oil from Turkmenistan, Russia, and Kazakhstan, are transported through the BTC.

The BTC pipeline currently carries mainly ACG crude oil and Shah Deniz condensate from Azerbaijan. In addition, other volumes of Caspian regional crude oil and condensate continue to be transported via BTC.
