SOCAR Turkey, will use "green energy" in office buildings and some facilities in Istanbul to reduce carbon emissions, Report states, citing Turkish media.
According to SOCAR Turkey CEO Zaur Gahramanov, it was decided to use "green energy" for electricity in 22 buildings of the company, including four office buildings.
"Assuming that in 2021 the total amount of electricity used in all our other centers, including our head office in Istanbul, will be 14.5 million kWh, we can say that approximately the same amount of energy will be met from renewable sources each year," Gahramanov stressed.
