SOCAR, TPAO discuss implementation of joint projects

SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Çağrı Şirin, Head of the Foreign Projects Department of Türkiye Petrolleri A.O. (TPAO), and Halil Buğra Yavuz, Head of the company's Representative Office in Azerbaijan, on 15 May, Report informs, citing SOCAR.

During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the development of relations between SOCAR and TPAO.

In this context, the importance of TPAO's accession last year to the Production Sharing Agreement on the joint geological exploration and development of the Shafag-Asiman prospective structure in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea was highlighted in terms of expanding cooperation.

The parties also reviewed the implementation status of jointly executed projects and exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
