SOCAR imports aviation fuel to Ukraine from neighboring countries

In October, SOCAR Energy Ukraine, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan's State Oil Company SOCAR, imported 6,900 tons of aviation fuel to Ukraine, Report informs, citing Consulting Group A95.

SOCAR Energy Ukraine purchased aviation fuel in Belarus (5,000 tons) and Lithuania (1,900 tons).

In October 2021, the import of aviation fuel to the Ukrainian market decreased by 22%, to 16,500 tons, compared to the same month last year (20,900 tons).

Aviation fuel supplies from Lithuania, compared to October 2020, decreased by 28.3%, to 5,600 tons.

In October, 6,900 tons of aviation fuel were supplied from Belarus to Ukraine.

From January through October 2021, Ukraine imported 124,800 tons of aviation fuel, 7.3% more than in January-October last year (116,300 tons).

Compared to 10 months of 2020, in January-October 2021, aviation fuel supplies from Belarus increased threefold - to 56,400 tons, from Lithuania - decreased by 19.3% to 45,900 tons.
