SOCAR holds event dedicated to World Quality Week 2025

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has hosted an event as part of the World Quality Week 2025 initiative, Report informs, citing SOCAR.

This global initiative, celebrated in nearly 100 countries, aims to promote a culture of quality, spread innovative management practices, and strengthen the concept of excellence within organizations.

This year's event, held under the motto Think Differently, focused on encouraging modern approaches at SOCAR, improving sustainable quality management systems, and strengthening collaboration among employees.

The event opened with a speech by SOCAR Vice President Fuad Musayev, followed by presentations and a panel discussion on the topic.

Participants were informed about SOCAR's recent achievements in the field of quality, ongoing projects, and future goals. The company's progress in digital transformation, process standardization, and strengthening risk‑based approaches was also shared with a wide audience.

Panel discussions on Building a Sustainable Quality Culture Through Thinking Differently featured representatives from SOCAR's Head Office, SOCAR Türkiye, the Azerbaijan Institute of Metrology, and the Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization. Experts highlighted the strategic role of quality within the company, stressing the importance of adapting to a changing operational environment and proactive management.

In the second part of the event, SOCAR specialists participated in a competition titled Our Energy History.

The initiative contributed to further strengthening the culture of quality among employees, fostering excellence‑oriented exchange of ideas, and supporting practices aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
