Samad Bashirli: 'Green energy' opens new horizons for сooperation between Germany and Azerbaijan

Germany's experience and Azerbaijan's potential are opening new horizons for cooperation in renewable energy, according to Deputy Minister of Economy Samad Bashirli said at a German-Azerbaijani event organized by the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan) dedicated to the transition to green energy.

The deputy minister emphasized the importance of expanding bilateral trade, investment, and cooperation in renewable energy between Azerbaijan and Germany:

"Germany's experience in renewable energy and Azerbaijan's vast potential in wind and solar power create unique opportunities for jointly building a sustainable future," Bashirli noted.

The event aimed to promote greater participation of German initiatives in Azerbaijan's green energy and technology sector, as well as to foster cooperation toward achieving sustainable development goals.

In addition, the parties discussed specific areas for future German-Azerbaijani cooperation in the field of green energy.
