Oil and gas production at Bahar field down

In 2021, 0.17 million barrels of oil (-0.01 million barrels or 5.56%) were produced from the Bahar field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, Report informs, citing the Chamber of Accounts.
Last year, the field was expected to produce 0.24 million barrels of oil, which is 0.07 million barrels or 70.83% less than the actual figure.
In 2021, the Bahar field extracted 169 million cubic meters of natural gas (-6.6 million cubic meters or 3.7%).
The field was expected to produce 243 million cubic meters of gas, which is 74 million cubic meters or 30.4% less than the actual figure.
