SOCAR, Rosneft heads hold meeting

President of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev has made an official visit to Moscow. Report informs, during the visit, Rovnag Abdullayev met with Rosneft Chief Executive Officer Igor Sechin.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu attended the meeting from the Azerbaijani side. At the meeting, the ambassador presented Igor Sechin with the Order of Friendship (Dostlug) on behalf of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

In addition, on behalf of SOCAR, Sechin I.I. was awarded the honorary title "Honored Oilman of Azerbaijan."

Oil and Gas Executives discussed the prospects for cooperation between Rosneft and SOCAR.
