Masdar Azerbaijan advises government on updating local legislation

Masdar Azerbaijan not only produces renewable energy, but also advises the government on updating local legislation, the company's Country Manager, Murad Sadikhov, said on the second day of Baku Climate Action Week 2025 (BCAW2025), Report informs.
Sadikhov noted that the company also provides guidance on attracting investors to the sector: "Our projects are implemented in accordance with local legislation. The Azerbaijani government has tasked us with adapting the system to be inclusive. We already have strong examples. Many renewable energy investments are being carried out based on projects we've developed in collaboration with local experts."
