Lukoil reveals plans regarding fields in Caspian Sea

Russia's Lukoil oil and gas company has exceeded 30 million tons cap of oil production in the Vladimir Filanovsky field in the Caspian Sea, Report informs.
According to the company, five wells (including four production wells and one injection well) were built this year to maintain the annual production of 6 million tons of oil.
In addition, the company has completed the second stage of development of the field in the transmission block of the field named after Yuri Korchagin. Construction of 8 production wells has been completed here.
Besides, Lukoil continues to develop the third Caspian field named after V. Greifer. Construction and installation works are being carried out at the Astrakhan shipyards on the upper parts of the ice-resistant stationary platform and the residential module platform.
In 2021, a number of operations were carried out to lift, tow and transport facilities to the mooring wall. An oil platform has been installed on the ice-resistant stationary platform, and a helicopter pad has been installed on the residential module platform.
In the second quarter of 2022, it is planned to install offshore facilities in the Caspian Sea with a unique floating method, which makes it possible to install the upper part of the support block without the use of a floating crane.
