Kazakhstan reduces oil & gas production

In January-September 2021, Kazakhstan produced 82.051 million tons of coal, which is 1.4 percent more than in the same period last year, according to the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms, Report informs.
In Kazakhstan, the bulk of coal is mined in Pavlodar region (in the north), Karaganda (in the center) and East Kazakhstan regions.
Oil production in January-September decreased on an annualized basis by 3.3 percent, gas condensate output fell 5.8 percent. In the reporting period, 53.480 million tons of crude oil and 8.884 million tons of gas condensate were produced.
Production of natural gas in a gaseous state amounted to 15.982 billion cubic meters (a decrease by 7.2 percent over the year). Production of associated petroleum gas in the reporting period amounted to 23.535 billion cubic meters (less by 4 percent).
