Georgian Ministry of Economy: South Caucasus has great potential for developing regional cooperation

By developing energy cooperation, particularly in the area of ​​green hydrogen, Georgia and Azerbaijan will be able to contribute to improving Europe's energy sector, Omar Tsereteli, a representative of the Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, said in Baku at the Azerbaijan & Central Asia Green Energy Week 2025, Report informs.

"The South Caucasus has significant potential for regional cooperation. Our cooperation with Azerbaijan serves as an example for many countries, and projects like the Black Sea submarine cable could become flagship projects. By developing and strengthening this trend, including in the area of ​​green hydrogen, we will be able not only to improve the energy sector but also to export electricity to Europe," Tsereteli noted.
