EIA announces forecast for oil production in Azerbaijan for 2025

It is predicted that in 2025, the average daily oil production in Azerbaijan will be 650,000 barrels, Report informs referring to the January release of the Short-Term Energy Outlook report of the Energy Information Administration (EIA) of the US Department of Energy.

The oil production forecast for 2024 is 20,000 barrels or 3.22% less than earlier in November.

It is expected that in the first quarter of 2025, the average daily oil production in the country will be 630,000 barrels. This forecast is 20,000 barrels or 3.28% more than the forecast daily oil production for the first quarter of 2024.

In the second quarter of 2025, daily oil production in Azerbaijan is expected to amount to 640,000 barrels. This forecast is 30,000 barrels or 4.92% more than daily oil production in the second quarter of 2024.

The agency believes that in the third quarter of 2025, the average daily oil production forecast in Azerbaijan will be 660,000 barrels. This forecast is 50,000 barrels or 8.2% more than the daily oil production forecast of the third quarter of 2024.

In the last quarter of 2025, the forecast for average daily oil production in Azerbaijan will be 660,000 barrels. This forecast is 410,000 barrels or 6.45% more than daily oil production in the fourth quarter of 2024.
