D-8 ministers to mull energy security issues in Baku

In June, ministers from the D-8 countries will discuss energy security, renewable energy, regional energy cooperation, and sustainable development in Baku, Amil Hasanov, head of the Public Relations and Information Security Department of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy, said at a press conference dedicated to Baku Energy Week and the TransLogistika Caspian exhibition, Report informs.
According to Hasanov, the Baku Energy Week program includes a number of high-level events aimed at strengthening regional and international cooperation in the energy sector: "One of these events will be a meeting with the participation of ministers from the D-8 countries."
