Brent oil price drops below $67 per barrel

The cost of a Brent crude oil futures contract for February 2022 delivery on the London ICE exchange decreased by 5.22% to $66.1 per barrel, amid OPEC+ decision to maintain the volume of oil production growth in January 2022 by 400,000 barrels per day, according to data from the stock exchange at 18:02 (Baku time).
Report informs, citing TASS that the last time the price of a barrel of Brent oil was below $67 was on August 23, 2021.
The cost of WTI crude oil futures fell by 4.34% to $62.78 per barrel.
By 18:19 (Baku time) Brent crude was traded at $67.2 per barrel (-2.42%). WTI lost 3% to $63.61 per barrel.
