BOTAS transports over 121M barrels of BTC oil from Ceyhan port

BOTAŞ International Limited (BIL), which operates the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in Turkey, transported 121.271 million barrels of crude oil through the Ceyhan terminal this year.
This amount of crude oil was loaded on 167 tankers and sent to world markets, Report informs, referring to the company.
So far, 4,826 tankers have carried 3.692 billion barrels of crude oil from the port.
In 2001, BIL was authorized to operate BTC in Turkey. The first tanker loading of crude oil from BTC at the Ceyhan terminal was on June 2, 2006.
