Azerbaijan, Turkey discuss cooperation in energy regulation

The "Regulations" Working Group meeting was held within the 1st Azerbaijan-Turkey Energy Forum, Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) under the Ministry of Energy told Report.
The information about the history of the development of the energy systems of both countries and the existing electricity markets was provided at the meeting. The participants in the event also considered the activities of regulators, Turkey's initiatives on the initial measures to be taken to liberalize the market by attracting private investment in electricity generation, and discussed future areas of cooperation.
