Azerbaijan reduces oil production by about 5%

In January-September 2024, 21.6 million tons of oil (including condensate) were produced in Azerbaijan, the country's Energy Ministry said, Report informs.
This is 1.1 million tons or 4.85% less compared to the corresponding period of 2023
Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field accounted for 12.5 million tons of oil produced in the republic, 1 million tons or 7.4% less year-on-year, while Shah Deniz for 3.1 million tons (condensate), 0.2 million tons or 6.06% less year-on-year.
In the reporting period, the Absheron field produced 0.4 million tons of gas condensate, 260,000 tons or 2.86 times more year-on-year.
SOCAR's oil output amounted to 5.6 million tons (including condensate), 0.2 million tons or 3.5% less year-on-year.
