Azerbaijan posts almost 3-fold rise in revenues from petroleum coke exports

In the first eight months of 2025, Azerbaijan exported nearly 125,204 tons of petroleum coke, valued at just over $38.337 million, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.
According to the customs declarations, the exports dropped by 20.2 percent in volume, whereas, rose by 2.9 times in value compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the share of petroleum coke in Azerbaijan's total exports for the reporting period was 0.22%.
Overall, Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations worth $32.118 billion in the first eight months of 2025. Of this, $17.065 billion came from exports and $15.053 billion from imports. Over the past year, exports declined by 6.4%, while imports grew by 17.9%.
