Azerbaijan increases methanol production by 62%

During January-September 2022, Azerbaijan produced 402,300 tons (+61.7%) of methanol (methyl alcohol), Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
As of October 1 of this year, the country produced 36,400 tons of finished products.
Methanol production is carried out at the methanol plant of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) located in the Garadagh region.
