Azerbaijan increased production of gasoline, diesel fuel in 2021

The total output value in the field of oil products in Azerbaijan during 2021 amounted to 4.394 billion manats, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

This figure is 13.4% higher than in 2020.

During the reporting period, 1.259 million tons of motor gasoline, 2.403 million tons of diesel fuel, 49,100 tons of lubricating oils, 362,200 tons of petroleum bitumen were produced.

Thus, during 2021, the production of motor gasoline in Azerbaijan increased by 7.9%, diesel fuel - by 16.2%, lubricating oils - by 39.1%, and the production of petroleum bitumen decreased by 3.4%.

In this period, the country produced 400,700 tons of gasoline for petrochemical industry, 490,100 tons of kerosene, 105,000 tons of fuel oil, 255,300 tons of petroleum coke.

The production of gasoline for petrochemical industry has grown over the past year by 67.2%, the production of petroleum coke - by 29.7%, heating oil - by 70.5%, and the production of kerosene has gone up by 2.4%.
