Azerbaijan, Germany mull prospects for energy cooperation

Azerbaijan and Germany discussed prospects for energy cooperation.

According to Report, citing the Ministry of Energy, the discussions took place within the framework of Baku Energy Week during a meeting between Minister Parviz Shahbazov, Chairman of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Michael Harms, and representatives of leading German companies.

The meeting discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Germany in the energy sector. Opportunities for cooperation in natural gas, renewable energy, energy efficiency, hydrogen, heat pumps, energy storage systems, and electricity infrastructure were also considered.

In the context of regional ties and hydrogen-related plans, an exchange of views took place on cooperation with German companies.
