Azerbaijan exports over 714,000 tons of crude oil to Portugal

In January-August 2025, Azerbaijan exported 714,269 tons of crude oil worth $385.08 million to Portugal, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

Compared to the same period in 2024, the volume of crude oil exports to Portugal increased by 3.3%, while the value dropped by 12%.

Crude oil exports to Portugal accounted for 4.5% of Azerbaijan's total crude oil exports during the first eight months of 2025.

In total, Azerbaijan exported 15,924,752 tons of crude oil and petroleum products derived from bituminous minerals in January–August. The total value of those exports reached $8.4 billion.

During the specified period, Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations worth $32.12 billion. Of this, $17.07 billion accounted for exports and $15.05 billion for imports.
