Azerbaijan, Brazil may cooperate in mining, mineral processing sectors

Azerbaijan has discussed cooperation prospects with Brazil in areas such as energy, mining, and mineral processing, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Economy Ministry.

The discussions took place during a meeting between Azerbaijani Economy Deputy Minister Elnur Aliyev and Renato Dutra, Secretary for Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels of Brazil's Ministry of Mines and Energy, as part of Aliyev's visit to Brazil.

During the meeting, information was provided about Azerbaijan's business environment, significant reforms and goals in the energy sector, and international investment instruments in which Azerbaijan is a joint partner with several countries, and partnership opportunities were highlighted.

The parties reached an agreement on developing cooperation relations between the relevant institutions of the two countries in areas of mutual interest.
