Azerbaijan becomes main supplier of petroleum bitumen to Georgia

In April this year, Georgia imported 7,800 tons of oil bitumen, the local Bureau of Report informs, citing Georgia's Union of Petroleum Products Importers.
Of this, 7,300 tons or 93.6% were imported from Azerbaijan', while 500 tons (6.4%) from Turkmenistan.
In January-April, the volume of oil products supplied to the neighboring country increased by 1.7% year-on-year to 18,100 tons. Azerbaijan provided 16,000 tons (88.4%) of this volume.
In the first four months, after Azerbaijan, the leading suppliers of oil bitumen to Georgia were Iraq (1,100 tons), Turkmenistan (500 tons), and Russia (500 tons).
