ICESCO chief visits educational institutions in Shusha and Khankendi

As part of his visit to Azerbaijan, Salim bin Mohammed Al-Malik, Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), toured educational institutions in Shusha and Khankendi, the Ministry of Science and Education told Report.
Accompanied by Azerbaijan's Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, Al-Malik first visited Shusha City School No. 1, where he was introduced to the modern educational environment and met with students.
He then visited Karabakh University, where he viewed newly constructed academic buildings, classrooms, laboratories, and dormitory facilities. During a meeting with students, discussions were held on the university's support for their academic activities, followed by group photos. University rector Shahin Bayramov briefed the guest on the institution's operations.
The delegation also toured the Karabakh University Clinic, where Samir Babayev, Director of the Clinic and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, provided detailed information about the clinic's services, infrastructure, and future plans.
